Graphic 45 Design Team 2012 Audition

I have.. giant butterflies in my stomach just writing this post out. I'm always astounded by G45 papers and embellishments.. like draw drop astonishment.. they're just gorgeous. But it's the Design Team that really makes their work seem so beautiful. And at this time, Graphic45 is having the 2012 dt audition -- so I'm throwing my name in the hat, signing up on the roster, and tap dancing across the stage!

No Lies --- most of these G45 based projects I've been working on since the call went up! I'll show my Graphic 45 specific projects first.. and then show a few that are other companies but that I think really show what sort of a paper craft I am.

Photos from the Winter Western

My last craft show was a half success -- not a complete failure but I think online is where I'll keep my stuff..

it did however give me the opportunity to branch out and create LOTS of fun new stuff for the shop.. while I'm photographing all my goodies to put up.. take a look at the pictures of the booth :D

Keep in mind that I shared half the booth with a good friend -- so not everything you see is mine!

The banners, garlands, white frames with chicken wire, tags, vintage pillows and wreaths are mine :)
there are also a couple of bracelets floating around.. some keychains.. a few hair barrettes thought not many!

Everything on this shelf is mine, pillows, blocks, wreaths, garland, chicken wire frame.. all stuff that will be coming to the shop soon!

@CropChocolate today!

Check out THE CROP for a piece I made about layering embellishments super easy peasy!

and after you've visited the blog -- head on over to CropChocolate.com itself as today is the beginning of a new challenge based on my project! Lovely inspiration by Jamie!

Sorry..

I'm not sure why, but my VLVS! Tryout post was refusing to schedule for the future.. please ignore those.. I've now deleted them :D Continue on down for my latest creation!

G45 - altered spool

blogs are funny aren't they? I think they get pushed to the back burner SO easily.. I did a big show.. tried to concentrate on making product for it.. the blog sacrificed.. then I swore once it was over.. I would post tons of goodies to the blog.. however.. Graphic45 put up a design team call.. as well as couple of other places..

But.. I'm posting a Graphic45 pieces right now :) which will go into the larger application post towards the middle of the week!

The spool is decorated with Tropical Travelogue (8x8) papers.. did some fussy cutting (the foliage) as well as paper rolling (the eggs). I stamped a Unity stamp onto some white cardstock as sort of a focal point. The paper unrolls from the wooden spool to reveal a treasure map.. and when it's rolled up a vintage metal button pairs with some bakers twine to keep it closed. Other than that I used some moss, distress ink and glue :)

I've sent this in to UNITY to be pinned on a pinterest board for a competition! Keep an eye out there to vote for me :)
as the week at SimonSaysStampandShow is anything goes, I'll also be linking up there :)
