Seuls au monde by Ladybird

Hello everyone, today, I am here to show you a layout I have wanted to do for a long time.

I love this photo of my son with his Dad. There is so much love in it. It seems they are just the two of them in the world... and that's what my title literally says. I should even say alone in the universe... but the background says it all.
In the picture below, you can see how I used the Um Wow Studio stars to connect the papers all together. I tried to draw constellations and I love the texture it gives to the paper. That's what I love with confetti chipboards, they can transform a layout by adding precious details.

For this layout, I used the Star Confetti.

And papers from My Mind's Eye and Studio Tekturek.

Magnum by Sindi Jeffers

Hi everyone! I'm just stopping by to share a quick tutorial that shows how I got this super cool glittery sheen on my UmWowStudio chipboard. Here's my layout:

So getting that watercolor sheen on the chipboard was super easy! I'm using this cute little UmWowStudio chipboard elephant to show you how I created the look.

First, cover the chipboard with a thin layer of gesso and wait for it to dry.

Next, I used some pigment powder. I just scattered it randomly onto my chipboard. Then, I sprayed it with some water to make the color run.

Without waiting for the pigment to dry, I dripped some spray mist on there and sprayed it again with water. This causes the colors to run together and it creates a really cool effect.

I also went around the edges with a black pen to add an extra touch. Here's the end result:

I also realized there was a happy bonus to this little technique. When I lifted off the chipboard after all that spritzing, I had this amazing background splatter and was able to use it as the background for my layout.

Project Life with Tanya Dudkina

Hi there!
Today I want to share with you my Project life layout. PL is about all these tiny things and embellishments - so UmWowStudio little chipboard and phrases are just perfect for it. Let's have a look how I used confetti chipboard and decorated my photos?

This March I've been first time in our Saint-Petersburg Zoo and I this event really needs to be documents. So I chose fauna Burro chipboard  and little clouds from Rainy Day Confetti

My another big event! I finally started to watercolor. That was my dream and I'm super excited I finally did it! I wanted to show all my emotions and amazing process of watercoloring. So many splashes - so much fun. I used Rainy Day Confetti to show splashes of paints and decorated them with enamel dots

And finally - my craft room! We bought some new storage and shelves, so now I'm finishing all the details and my room will be finally ready! I used Comic Book Speech bubbles to express my emotions ))

So that is it. Hope you enjoy it and find some ideas for your Project Life layouts

Bee Bag with Jen Matott

Hey crafty friends!  I want to share a fun altered project with you!  I got this cute canvas bag for another project and knew I wanted to use lots of color and hexagons on it!   I love the possibilities of a blank canvas.

I used UmWowStudio Hexagon Mask sideways to create areas of color using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos® Colors Brights set.  I also outlines some of them with a Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft PITT® Artist Pen in Black.
I used Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Texture Luxe™ in Gold to add texture and metallic shine to some UmWowStudio Hexagon Confetti Chipboard.  This stuff is shiny and so pretty on the chip!
Now the pièce de résistance for the bag is the stitched "bee".  I know the stencil is not a bee but I wanted to create one looking like a bee.  So, I traced some of the stencil with pen and left a few details of to create a more bee-like shape.

A backstitch was used in yellow gold thread. I love how it looks on this bag!

I hope you enjoyed my project using UmWowStudio chip and stencils!

Our girl by Tusia Lech

Hello sweet fellow scrappers :)
I am here today with a layout - I love to make layouts with photos of my sweet little daughter. She loves elves and she is so very girlie! Much more than I was when I was her age. It is so cute!

I have used cute little chipboard hearts from Heart confetti chipboard set. I covered all pieces with white embossing powder.

I decided to use circle pattern as main shape on my layout, so I have chosen background paper with dots, I have used round die-cut elements and stickers. I have chosen two beautiful flairs from Life is so good flair set and Our princess flair.

I decided to use circle pattern also at the background paper. I applied red PanPastel through Circle confetti mask from UmWowStudio.

Thank you for visiting UmWowStudio blog today!
