Adore

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blogpost. Today I have another art journal to share. Yes,  I know, boring... but that is what I like to do...

This time I used my pencil to add some circles and some writing (thank you DeeDee for the idea, I would have never tried this if I hadn't seen you do it!)
Here's how I treated the chipboard:

I applied some acrylic paint with a brayer..

Lightest colour first..

Then adding a little of the dark at the bottom.

over the top I added some holographic embossing powder...

Look how that sparkles !

Here are some detail pictures...

sparkly !

Wasn't she gorgeous ! I don't know why I am obsessed with her but I am... lol

Here she is again...

And the finished journal page.

I used this chipboard:

You will find it HERE

Thank you for stopping by today !!

Our Mixed Media Moods March Challenge

Hi UmWowStudio Fans....
It's me...Lynne!

For my post I decided I would play along
with our Fearless Leader's challenge.....
Our Mixed Media Moods

And just in time for this challenge was the arrival
of a package of goodies from UmWowStudio
and guess what it was wrapped in
mustard yellow tissue paper......confirmation!

So, I pulled out an art board and adhered the tissue paper
and vintage farm weather paper to the board.

From there the layering began....

Do you see the UmWowStudio
Doodle Mash
embedded in the Polishing Plaster??

now to tell on myself....
I WAS REALLLLY STRUGGLING
with the mustard yellow color!
Because of that....I did more layering...
then I applied
and overall spritz of Glimmer Mist.

Still not totally happy I layered on a bit of
Crackle Paint and more Glimmer Glaze and Glimmer Mist.
Finally I was HAPPY!

I had used some of the tissue paper to dab
the products I had added to my canvas,
so I cut out a few flowers.

Do you see the UmWowStudio
Vintage Ladder?
I painted it with the Black Gesso and
spritzed with a bit of Glimmer Mist.

I used a few twigs wrapped with wire.

I finished it off with a FABULOUS QUOTE!

HOPE you enjoyed my creations....

Gift Bag by Olga

Hello friends of UmWowStudio!

Today I want to share a gift bag with you. I was inspired by Artist Live show with DeeDee and have made a simple but colorful gift bag.

As first I have make the background. With clear gesso covered surface I have made splashes of alcohol inks, luminart powder with water...

As the result was cool for me I have cut it in three cards, rounded the edges and worked around with distress inks.

After the gluing the peaces with the foam on the bag I have stamped it and sprayed through the stencil.

Finally I have glued the houses and heart and colored it red. Some twine, some yarn... That's all!

Here you see the shine...

Supplies I used:

Tiny Houses MASH

Line of Chevrons Stencil

Stay creative!
