I am home

Hello everyone,

welcome to my blogpost. I totally love the Tiny Houses Mash chipboards and couldn't resist using them again... I made three ATC's on Yupo Paper and made the background with alcohol inks.

I have left the chipboard in its natural form as I like how this looked.

After the alcohol background had dried I applied some gold foiling. I saw Vicki Papaioannou do this on YouTube but I didn't have as many sticky areas on the ATC's... It was also alsmost impossible to photograph.. but what you do is apply foil to areas that have lots of ink. These areas stay very sticky and are a good base for foiling..

I also added one stamp to ground the houses on and some gold coloured washitape.

You can just see the gold foil in the top left corner...

I have used these chipboards:

You will find them HERE.

Wedding Layouts

HOWDY.....UWS Fans
Hope all is WELL!
I recently have gone back to my creative roots....
and created 2 scrapbook pages.
I began the process by printing out bunch photos family photos.
I was drawn to pictures from my daughter's wedding.

My first choice was to create a page
of a special moment with my daughter.

I then went to my stash of  UmWowStudio chippies
to find one I thought would go well.
I chose one from my
Signature Collection with UmWowStudio
I found one of UmWowStudio's word chippies

The ABSOLUTE PERFECT accents!

Something Old, Something New
Something Borrowed, Something Blue

I painted the UmWowStudio ~ Large Ivy with a bit of Glimmer Glam.

I chose to keep the UmWowStudio chippie ~ Adore natural.

Here is the other layout I created using another of
my Favorite photos from that special day!

I pulled out UmWowStudio chippie ~ Leafy Branch
from my Signature collection.
I painted the chippie with a bit of green paint
and cut it apart to nestle into my flowers.

Thank you for stopping by to take of peek at my layouts!
Until next time.....Be Creative!

Mysterious

Hello everyone,

and welcome to my post for today ! I have made a tag :

I used the 'Wooden Sign' Chipboard

and also one of the 'Layered Clouds'

This is what I did to the 'Wooden Sign': (unfortunately I forgot to take photos what I did to the cloud, it was an afterthought,  I applied 2 layers of embossing powder).

This is what it looks like in its natural form..

I started with 2 layers of white gesso.

I added colour with my Big Brush Markers by Faber Castell.

This is what it looked like when I finished.

Next I stamped it with the words: "she was" and "mysterious".

Here's the cloud I heat embossed it with a coat of dark blue embossing powder first and then went over the top with a light blue with gold flecks in it. I like that you still can see the dark blue here and there.

A close up. All stamps I used are by VivaLasVegaStamps! The background was painted with PaperArtsy Acrylic paints.

And here she is again !

Hello everyone,

Today I have a tag to show you :

I have made this tag for you today. The chipboard was simply painted with acrylic paint.

I used the Dahlia stencil, some thread, book pages, stamping and some butterflies from Tim Holtz.

The sentiment is by Tim Holtz also.

I hope you got some inspiration !

I used this chipboard:

It is called 'Airmail Border' and you'll find it HERE
