Golden Poppy Pod

It's Marta JaMajka here.

Today I would like to show you my Artist Trading Cards set.

I used Poppy Pod Stencil:

I really love this stencil, it has clear and sharp edges, 

that's why the pattern looks great with embossing & texture paste.

I used a lot of gold: golden embossing powder and gold spray with shiny pigment.

The pattern has a bit of 3D dimension and it looks like a metallic relief.

Can I just say I am GIDDDYYYY with excitement

about my first posting on the
UmWowStudios Creative Team!!!??!??!

I was already to create a step out tutorial

but became so engrossed in

the design process

I glued everything down

and didn't take a single picture....UGGGH!

The inspiration for my tag was "dark blue"

so I pulled out a bottle of Indigo ~ Color Burst

along with Platinum and Pewter ~ Liquid Metal and a

Kraft Tag....and played!

I ran Perfect Paints through

UmWowStudios ~ Handwriting Stencil.

While the tag was drying I began gathering supplies.

chicken wire

canvas

threads and

my stash of UmWowStudios chippies!

I dumped out the

UmWowStudios ~ Alpha ONE 

and began searching for the letters to spell

FINDING ME

finished off with a Sketchy Hearts MASH.

Now that I had a title.....

.....I just let the creative process flow.

creating flowers

repurposing hearts

tearing strips of curtian

stapling items to the tag

....including more of my favorite things

vintage lace

spiral flowers

colored Leaf Stems

diecut canvas....
