May Arts | Avery Elle | UmWowStudio

Hello friends!! Welcome to a super special 3 way hop between us here @ UmWowStudio and the fabulous teams of May Arts Ribbon and Avery Elle.

All week long we'll be sharing projects from our teams using amazing products by all 3 companies. And it never hurts to encourage a little fan participate by having a GIVEAWAY! So be sure to stop by each day this week, all three blogs, comment on the posts, and be entered to win! We have three fabulous prizes, one from each blog. Three random winners will receive 1 spool of ribbon, 1 stamp set, and 1 prize pack from UmWowStudio that includes chipboard, a mask, and flair!
(this prize is open all weekend long. Winners announced next week!)

Today we have Amy up first :

Amy says : I have created a layered layout that has a hipster type vibe, with the map background, me and my nerdy glasses for the photo, and the super cute little Avery Elle bicycles moving across the page. I enjoyed layering the paper and lovely May Arts ribbon, using the distressed harlequin background chipboard piece, as the anchor for all of the pretty bits. This was a fun combination of products to use, that came together to make something fun and unique!

UmWowStudio Products:
Distressed Harlequin Background
Gear Mash
Moon Shine Flair
May Arts Twine, cord, Butterfly canvas and pull string burlap.
Avery Elle Roll With It Set

and I (DeeDee) am joining her with this layout and a video on altering our chipboard:

It's a 12x12 with some May Arts Ribbons as a "clothes" line to hang my photo on. I've used the Paper Airplane to bring the feeling of a little boy to the page. Lots of washi tape, some splattering, found bits and more. The UmWowStudio chipboard was altered with Distress Paint to give it a chalky finish, and help finish the color palette of the layout.

Avery Elle Air Mail Set

And here's how I got the sort of milky/chalk like effect on our chipboard:

Now don't forget to stop by and see the inspiration @ May Arts and Avery Elle today! Comment all week long to enter to win!
