Baby Bears Bowl!

Hello bloggers!

Well I love a good story and I also love putting storybook scenes into my photo's.
I think it's easy enough to figure this one is 'Goldilocks'.

Shhh....don't tell everyone but this is my favourite Mask - Damask Mask and I just
can't help but use it - I love a thick, good quality Mask/stencil and this is certainly that. Here I have added black and nutmeg Silks to texture paste and put through mask.

 UmWowStudio products:

Chevron ConfettiCemetery Fence

Damask Mask

I have left most of the chipboard in it's raw state and the fence a touch of ink to suit the grungy colouring of the layout.

Thanks for dropping by....till next time. G!

Geraldine Pasinati
Hi, I’m Geraldine Pasinati and I live in Melbourne Australia.Painting, art and mixed media has been a passion since early childhood and now for the past 10+ years so has Scrapbooking. My creative passion is for layouts, tags and Journals (well really anything!) and my style is always simply about being 'me'.I’m very excited to be part of the wonderful UmWowStudio CT!

"Hello, it's JaMajka from Poland. I love to create, doesn't matter if it's a layout full of splashes or a colorful art journal page, or even a card with many layers - I just have to create to stay sane. My art is my way to relax or to work hard (it depends on my mood and my needs). I like challenges and new duties, I love to progress and to try something new and interesting. I love to sing, sometimes I even write songs, I love to read and I love nature. I'm an always-smiling-crazy-fiery-red-haired-person, who loves her life and passions and I'm very proud and honoured to be a part of this wonderful team!!! ♥"

Jen Matott
>>Her Blog<<
"I'm a mixed media artist and scrapbooker from outside of Syracuse, NY. I have been scrapbooking and creating mixed media art for over 20 years. Mixed media allows me to get creative with imagery and still create a 3D effect using a variety of media. My pages lean towards the dramatic and I love experimenting with materials and pushing the limits of what is traditionally done.
I'm an art educator in a public school and believe anyone can create meaningful Art! Teaching art is what inspires me and keeps me learning! My young students teach me so much!
Currently, I design for Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft and Inside Out Visual Journaling. I have been published in several paper and online magazines."

Sindi Jeffers
"I have been scrapping for 12 years now. My style is a bit erratic, and can vary from simple and fairly clean to messy and funky. I live in the beautiful mountains of Tennessee with my wonderful hubby, my adorable son, our two spoiled basset hounds, a whole bunch of chickens, and a large goat who is convinced he's a puppy. I am very excited to be part of this team!"

Tanya Dudkina

"Hi! My name is Tanya, I'm happy married crazy scrapbooker who lives to inspire and to be inspired. I love everything about scrapbooking, handmade and decorating. I work in different styles, because my projects are always depend in my mood and my feelings inside. I believe that all my projects reflect my emotions and I do really love how scrapbooking helps me to express myself."

Almost there!

Hello and welcome to UmWowStudio Blog,

Back in my corner of the world today ~Australia...... Yes it's Geraldine here to share some quick Retro/Vintage Christmas card and tags. I wanted a little change today and unlike my usual layout style, I like cards & tags to have an old world charm - especially at this time of year as it tends to please Mum and the Grandma's and always gets them talking about Christmas when they were younger.

UmWowStudio Chipboard products used:

We all know just how hectic Christmas time is..... sometimes even the simplest of Cards or tags that we make reap the rewards of a smile and appreciation from the receiver and brighten our own Christmas.... these tags can be made in under 10 mins using a vintage image or paper. Keep the chipboard raw or add Crackle paint and ink.

I hope you all enjoy Christmas and the holiday season, see you again soon. G!

Under Dreamy Skies!

Hello and welcome friends and bloggers,
I have been waiting patiently to receive this latest paper  'Destination Unknown'  created by
DeeDee Catron owner of UmWowStudio and created for 7 dots Studio.........O.K. so maybe not patiently but I'm sure you will agree -who could blame me, isn't it just totally awesome!
So here is the first of many layouts I intend to create with this Collection and the amazing UmWowStudio chipboard to match!

'Under Dreamy Skies'

To create dimension behind photo I have cross hatched strips of paper and then
lightly covered with gesso, sprayed with Starburst Sprays and then I have water brushed Magicals to all the edges to highlight some of the weaving and also the texture paste stencilled dots in background.

The Journey of Sights!

Hi there bloggers!

It's Geraldine back again today to share with you something special I made for myself. I wanted to break away from creating layouts and make something smaller and personal so I decided to create an UmWowStudio Tunnel Tag book.
The idea comes from a quote that I heard over 20 years ago and I always think of.....for me it's about taking flight and reaching!

Set your sights high, the higher the better. Expect the most wonderful things to happen, not in the future but right now. Realize that nothing is too good. Allow absolutely nothing to hamper you or hold you up in any way.

The Journey of sights!

Hello friends and bloggers....Welcome!

Geraldine here today, to share two of my latest tag creations.
Here at UmWowStudio we recently had a fabulous Blog Hop and I was inspired by some of the gorgeous tags that DeeDee Catron had made - couldn't resist looking at them as they were both fabulous..... so for today I decided to share that inspiration that led me to making this set.....

Together they are called ~ 'Scary Weather'

Yes -I know I have used  those Spooky trees again - Oh how I love these, so how could I resist anything to do with nature?
