Hello everyone,

Today I have an art journal page to share and this is it :

and here is how I treated the lovely chipboard kite:

I was going to use some stars as well but decided against it in the end... I will use them for something else sometime. 

First I gessoed everything to get a good base. Also because I was going to use acrylic paint I think it is better to start with a light base. 

These are the colours I used... 

Next I added some shading with Faber Castell Big Brush markers and added some faux stitch lines. 

For the background I used my gelli plate and a Lego piece.. 

I also used a few rubber stamps by VivaLasVegaStamps and a cloud stamp by Lawn Fawn.

Do you sometimes have a layout in mind but it takes long time to actually do it?
Well, this is what happened to this layout. I had this wonderful lined kite and numerous pictures of my sons with their kites. But it took me lot of time to dive into the creation of this layout.

But here it is! And I hope you love it as much as I do... I am quite happy with the different papers placed under the kite. And the sequins confetti just add some happiness to the layout!

I want you to know.. I had originally intended to do six days of sneak peeks.. but have revised my plan ;) I also now have TEN kits waiting to be ordered.. rather than making them all as the orders come in.
