Hi - card and a tutorial by JaMajka

Hello!

This is JaMajka here :)
I would like to show you a card, very easy to make.
Color options is your choice :)
Mine was pink/white.

I used some UmWowStudio chipboards and a mask and flairs set:

And now I'll show you, how I created this card:

1. I prepared white cardstock, scrapbooking paper,
gesso, chipboards, embossing powders, color mists,
mask, flairs set, silicone brush or something similar to apply gesso.

2. I've cut my cardstock to fit to my card base size.
 I covered it with gesso.

3. I used some color mists, just as you want -
color all cardstock or just splash somewhere with color.

4. My cardstock base is done - it has some splashes and stains.
Now it's time for a mask, embossing stamp pad and
embossing powder - just tap with embossing ink wherever you want.

5. Just like that (I've mixed light and dark pink)

 6. That's the effect.

7. I'm composing the card and I'm preparing my chipboards.

8. I covered chipboards with embossing powders (2 layers).

9. My composition is finished,
now it's time to add some main elements.

10. My cardstock base is glued into my card base (made of craft paper).
I've added some glass cabochons and some liquid pearls.

My card is finished,
here you can see some details and close-ups :)

Reveal and some news

Well.. the list is out for the Graphic 45 DT -- and I did not make it, but I was very honored to make it to the top 30 -- and it just leaves more time open for things of my own that I'd like to accomplish -- I hit the Joanns paper sale and got tons of paper to start forking out flowers!!

I also just purchased a PAZZLES -- so be on the lookout for work from that baby :)

Here is the project that I sent into the Graphic 45 office for consideration as a member

will fill in the details on this later!

Inspire - The Art Journal Reveal

I have big plans of sketches and doodles.. trims and laces.. flowers and cabochons.. ideas and failures.. innovation and recognition..

Here is the cover to my Art Journal titled "INSPIRE" -- I've had this idea for a while.. and it just so happens that four challenges conspired together to create this beauty.

supplies used: Acrylic album, white paint, Tim Holtz Tags and Keyplates die, Stampin' Up butterflies die, faux stamen, MM's Chloe pins, BasicGrey's Lime Rickey, Studio G stamps, Anita's stamp, jar, TH Distress Ink, Rubber Stampede stamp, Don Juan cartridge, mini spool and vintage thread, 2 random leaf sprays, recycled corrugated cardboard, hot glue, zing embossing powder, Stampin' Up stamp, StazOn saddle brown.

This was done for the CropChocolate Focus Group Mini Challenge, Simon Says Stamp and Show Bling, Sunday Stamper's White Lines and Flutter By Wednesdays - Wings + a Die.
