Hey guys -- DeeDee here today sharing an INCREDIBLE mixed media canvas that I just happened to receive... as a GIFT this Christmas!
Oh yes.. you read that right.. this little beauty is ALL MINE. Created by a dear local friend > Tina Wacker (Christine.) I don't have many details, but we can all admire it's beautiful textures & layers. I chose this blog to put it on because in all her delightful layers she's included LOADS of UmWowStudio chipboard.

Create Magic
Hello everyone!
It's Monika here. Today I would like to share my new "Create Magic" tag. As my base, I used Wire Cage Dress Form and I added some laces and pearls. I covered everything with heavy white gesso and white crackle paste. After that I used my favourite watercolours and stamps.
I hope you feel inspired.

Christmas File by Olga
Hello friends of UmWowStudio!
I'm in Christmas fever!! Yes!! I want document my christmas this year and so I have the basis for! ;) And my first idea was to make it clean and simple... But I can't clear... and I can't simple... It must be dirty and complex, with more colors and layers, structure and... GLIMMER!
I have used acrylic colors in brown, red, some green and gold!
I have covered the chipboard with gold color and put on more layers of clear embossing powder.
The head of the elk I have made so: through the mask with a brush applied acrylic liquid medium, then I have covered it with glitter.
Inside is empty.. yet.. not long ;)
Supplies I used:
Yuletide Words Stensil
Wonky circles Stencil
Vintage - Word
Stay creative!

She spread her wings....
Hello everryone,
Today it is my turn to share a project. I have made a canvas and it is a little different to my usual bright colours but I really enjoy making vintage things as well...
here it is:
This was actually a painted canvas so I started with glueing book pages on it. I then added the dots with a piece of punchinella and some model paste.
Next I painted it with a mix of turquoise and white DecoArt Media fluid acrylics.
The next layer was Antiquing Creme also by DecoArt. I used a turquoise and a brown..
You put it on, let it dry and then wipe it off again...
I got the little frame in the dollar store and I antiqued it the same way, using Titan Buff paint and the same antiquing creams.
On the little crown from the photo booth props set of chipboards I added some glue from a tape runner and then put some foil on it. It was by no means perfect but that was just the look I was going for. The bits that weren't covered by the foil I painted with gold paint. I then added 2 layers of clear embossing powder over the top.
I put a piece of Designer Paper by 7dots Studio (Destination unknown) under the little frame.
Next was the Cicada. I painted it with Titan Buff DecoArt Media Fluid acrylic paint and then added some dark turquoise on the top edges of the wings.
I then used a holographic embossing powder to get some shimmer. With a bit of metal wire and some seed beads I gave the cicada antennea, no idea if the have antennea??? lol
Underneath the frame is a rubber stamped image by VivaLasVegaStamps! It didn't stamp very well so I added some more ink with my fingers. I also added some black stripes with black fluid acrylic and an old creditcard.
Here is a close up of the shimmer...
The whole thing was put together using gel medium to glue the frame, the crown and the cicada. I also added some splatters... The last thing I did was add the sentiment which is by VivaLasVegaStamps.
I have used these chipboards:
Cicada bug
Photo booth props
Thank you so much for stopping by today !

June Sketch Inspiration by Amy
Hello UmWowStudio fans!! It's Amy here today, to share a layout I created using this month's inspiring sketch!
I am completely in love with the gorgeous doilies, and using them was a no brainer paired with the sketch. For the background, I used a vintage plastic doily that had belonged to my grandma, and the circle confetti mask, layering with paint and ink. Since I had blended the photo into the background, I did the same with the doily, painting and inking the background on a gradient.

Finally, I added my embellishments, like the gorgeous butterfly kisses flair.
I hope you were inspired to try this month's awesome sketch, there's always awesomeness offered for the winner of the month! I send you love and creative vibes! ~Loves, Amy
