Lost in my creative journey...

Hi UmWowStudio Fans.....

so HAPPY that you have stopped by the blog today!

I have been in a "gel printing" phase
and here is one of my creations
using a piece of my "printed" paper.

The background is comprised of "gel printing" onto a piece of Tissuestock.
I then adhered it to an artboard.
The printing was a bit dull so I pulled out

and applied a bit of texture medium through it
added a bit of Prills to the texture medium for color and texture.
Then I dropped bits of glimmer mist onto the bubbles.

I then cut up a chevron chippie from
UmWowStudios ~ Doodle Mash

Applied a bit of texture medium and colored it with
Silver Sugar glimmer mist.

I finished up my piece with a flower cluster and a sentiment.

Hope you enjoyed my creation!

All of Me by Lynne Forsythe

Hi UmWowStudio Fans!!!!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today.
Have you ever had one of those "THINGS"
Flower....Button.....Chippie
that you just LOVE
but it NEVER seems to "FIT" anywhere.

was just that "thing"

I can't tell you HOW MANY LAYERS
there are on this chippie
paint
embossing powder
more paint
mica flakes
gesso
OR
for how many projects I tried
to use it on.

...and in the end I scrapped most of it all off
exposing the raw chippie.

I added a flower
a bit of painted ivy
a smidge of antique curtian
some tulle

And just the perfect sentiment
to finish off my 'TOVERS tag.

Tis the Season.....to make BagTags!

Hi UmWowStudio Fans....
Wanted to share with you my "BagTags"
that I created for "the girls" Christmas presents.

I chose to go with a less than traditional "christmas" look

I chose the following papers......
Homegrown
Snicker
Attic

Once the papers were cut into tags,
I used UmWowStudio's Stencils
and applied various texture mediums.

The two constants on my tags are....
I covered the chosen Chevron with
Vintage Photo Distress Ink
and applied
Stampendous ~ Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel
what a STUNNING look!

And diecut Ivy Leaves
cut from CCB ~ Handmade Paper Ivory
colored with Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Mist.

I JUST LOVE how the "Bag Tags" came out....

I hope you have enjoyed my creative journey
as much as I will giving these BEAUTIFUL gifts!!

It's a wedding....by Lynne Forsythe

Hi UmWowStudio Fans.....

I created a card to celebrate
the upcoming wedding of a LOVELY couple.
Since the day I received the

I have been looking for the opportunity to use it....
and that day FINALLY ARRIVED!

The base of my card is
a CCB Greeting Card Kraft with Canvas.
I then applied Pearl Plaster through the

 I sprayed and splattered various
Mist and Glams onto the card face to create subtle color.

Next, I pulled out some vintage lace and
adhered it to the face of my card.....

I took the UmWowStudio Ampersand
and painted on a bit of Pearl Plaster,
which I heated to cause it to bubble.
(LOVE THE LOOK!)
I then randomly splattered on a bit of
Glam for an additonal splash of color.

FOR ONCE....I chose to use no verbage on my creation
to let the Ampersand say it all!

Lastly, I pulled out a few roses and painted on a bit of
Glam to accent the flowers.
What would a wedding card be without flowers?

I LOVE how my card came out....
and I wish the couple the BEST in the future.
