Friends

Hello everyone, it's Danielle here. Today I'm sharing my last layout as a member of the Um Wow Studio design team. I really loved working with DeeDee and her awesome products. A huge thank you to DeeDee for having me!!

Today's layout is about meeting my friend Patricia in real life for the first time. I love how scrapbooking brought so many amazing friends into my life and whenever I get the chance to meet them, I will! I used the UWS Arrow Title Mash and Love Tabs chipboard and Inspired Flair. I painted the chipboard in a soft pink color and sanded it a little. All papers and other embellishments are from the Pinkfresh Studio Happy Things collection.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Our Happy Place Layout by Kris Berc

Hello!  It's Kris with you today.  This layout features a variety of fun UmWowStudio products, including chipboard, flair and a stencil!

I tucked two flair pieces from the Oh the Places You'll Go set and a gold embossed circle arrow chipboard piece from the Arrow Title Mash set into my embellishment clusters.

I used the checker board stencil with some modeling paste to add fun interest to the background.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Caught by the Waves

Hello everyone, it's Danielle here with you today. For today's layout I used the chevron stips and arrow title mash chipboard elements and a button from the Oh the places you'll go Flair set, along with the Amy Tangerine Finders Keepers collection. The picture I used for this layout is taken at the beach of Seaside FL during my travels last September. There were not many waves that day, but I should have known that when you don't expect it, one is going to get you!

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative weekend!

Noted - Mixed Media Layout by Kris Berc

Hello!  It's Kris with you today hoping to inspire you with a simple mixed media layout!

This is my little girl and two of her cousins.  The three of them really love to pose!

I dressed up this chipboard piece from the Doilies set using distress embossing ink with gold embossing powder on half of it and pink embossing powder on the other half.  Then I dabbed on some super heavy gesso here and there with my finger.

Here I've used some gold and peach shades of embossing powder to dress up this "noted" chip piece from the Arrow Title Mash set.  I again dabbed on some super heavy gesso with my finger

Here you can get a close look at some of the stencil/super heavy gesso background work using the Checker Board stencil.  I prefer super heavy gesso instead of modeling paste because it seems to dry much whiter, and I love the brightness of that.

I also used some of the square punch-out pieces from a Grid Border.  I adhered them here and there, then traced around them with a black marker, and topped them off with messy dabs of super heavy gesso.  I thought it was a fun way to those negative pieces of chipboard to add some texture.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Beach life

Hello everyone, it's Danielle here. For the layout I'm sharing with you today, I wanted to try something new with the chipboard elements: I gold-foiled them with the We R Memory Keepers Heatwave tool. I've made a video to show you how to do it, you can find it overhere on my youtube channel.

Besides the UWS chipboard elements and flair buttons, I used the Dear Lizzy Documentary collection.

Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!

Oh the Places You'll Go! Mixed Media Layout by Kris Berc

Hello UmWowStudio fans!  It's Kris here today with a sweet layout of my little girl featuring chipboard, flair, and a stencil from the UmWowStudio store!

I chose to leave the chipboard pieces unaltered for this layout.  I think their raw color adds nice contrast to this otherwise pastel-colored page.

I tucked some messy thread beneath the chipboard pieces for some fun texture.

I glued this fun piece of flair to the center of this beautiful butterfly chipboard piece, and then adhered this layered embellishment on top of some messy thread with some foam tape.

Oh how I love heavy gesso with stencils!  Here I've used the Checker Board stencil on a torn piece of patterned paper.

I hope you have a wonderful week :)

Favorite beaches

Hello everyone, Danielle here with you today! I have a mini album to share that I've made with the fun Tag Book chipboard, that comes with a binding ring. This tag book makes it super easy to make a mini in a short time.

My album is about some of my favorite beaches, so it had to be colorful with colors that scream beach to me. I started painting the tag book in a bright teal color.

I painted all the chipboard elements that I used to decorate the mini, using these acrylic paint colors.
The paper embellishments are from the Fancy Pants Summer Sun collection and for the cover of the mini I added a button from the Oh the places we'll go flair set.

These are all the products that I've used, with links to them in the store.
