Here's more of my attempts at Shabby Chic:
This container is SO cool! It's an octagon shaped white box with a bottom and top. It's made by the Art Blanche line of EK Success and can be found @ BigScrapDeal.com in a set of three for 9.99 where retail is normally $26 on these things!
I handmade all the flowers using tons and tons of techniques I've learned! I also created a very vintage look using distress ink and older looking papers. All of the lace I've used is super old from an auction my grandmother won recently and was kind enough to pass on. After I had a wide variety of textures and builds of flowers I played with the construction until I found a look I was happy with... then glued like a wild woman!
This box is AWESOMELY shaped and so easy to work with!!!!! Wait and see what I do with the other 2 from the set!
Other products used: Mod podge, dictionary pages, distress ink, tons of different paper, muslin, beads, brads, wire, faux leaves, aluminum, alcohol ink, TH tattered floral die, SU butterfly die, buttons, satin, cotton, burlap, blank covered buttons, hot glue, jolees bling, stickles, a knob, dremel, lace, faux stamen.
