Hi Ribbon fans!! Welcome to my stop on the May Arts Organization hop :) :)
This week we're sharing some ORGANIZATION tips with you, and I think I could some inspiration of my own!
You should be here from Charlene!!
I do have a couple of "ideas" for you today, and can't wait to show you!!!
First off, I'm in a transitional period, so don't have the large room I use to have when it came to crafting and storing my supplies. Because of that I've had to downsize and really ORGANIZE things.. Right now I'm keeping only the things I need at hand. Thankfully that includes all my glorious May Arts ribbons!
I keep most of them inside waterproof tubs, which also keeps them clean and out of the hands of my ickle 2 year old!!
Every once in a while I resort them by style, but I've been digging around and playing in them a lot :)
But I really can't wait to show you the next part... This year for Valentine's Day my hubs got me some BEAUTIFUL bird cages.. I'm a total fan and have a few waiting for the return of my own space... But I HAD to use one NOW...
So I keep all my favorites in it!!!! The little door in the front opens, but you can see the latch at the top, too! The whole top opens and I can just reach in, or if I've already broken open the packaging the ends can hang outside the cage through the bars.. I pull on it.. and cut it :D
Now that you've seen my way of storage at this current time, head on over to Emily and see what she has to share!!
Don't forget to comment on ALL blogs for a chance at THREE rolls of ribbon, YOUR CHOICE :D

What a beautiful and unique way to store and display your ribbon. I would have never thought of doing something like that! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI'm all about keeping those precious ribbons clean and organized so love your bin storage, DeeDee!
ReplyDeleteA bird cage is an interesting choice of storage but not my first choice. I like mine in the plastic storage containers to keep them clean and dust free. But I do like the bird cage. ;)

Oh no!!! I need more plastic storage bins!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the bird cage idea. They could hang from the ceiling and still be accessible. Wouldn't take up as much room. There are so many different types of cages that you could start a collection of them as well.
