Magali here to show you my first creation for September.
Are you ready for Autumn already? Here in Quebec, we are enjoying a long lasting summer this year!
More than 40 degrees Celsius this week!! And the title of my page is inspired by this beautiful weather...
Today, I want to share a layout with a delicate touch of gold.
As you can see on the image below, you can add a beautiful gold look by spraying gold ink (here, I used Heidi Swapp Color Shine ink). Just let dry and add to your layout.
Here is my layout. The gold is less easy to see but it's here! ;)
Don't hesistate to layer different chipboards, because this highlights their shapes.
Here you can see the gold butterfly over a tag! This technique could be perfect for a card too.
And here I layered the star over the bubble!
Just have fun with the different chipaboards!
Here are the UWS products I used:
Nautical Stars
Sequins confetti
Layered butterflies

Set Sail by Ladybird
Here I am to show you a layout with the wonderful Destination Unknown collection of 7 Dots Studio designed by our wonderful DeeDee! :) It was such a pleasure to work with these papers and I had the perfect picture : my two older boys with their pirate and shark costumes!
As this collection comes with lots of nautical embellishments, it was perfect for this layout.
As you can see, I coloured the star chipboards in white and I dit it with iRESISTible ink, a perfect way to add an enamel shine to wood chipboards.
Here are the products I use:
Have a great day!

Mon petit bonhomme by Ladybird
Hi everyone!
I have a layout to share with you today.
You will see that there is several ways to bring chipaboards with cut shapes to light.
I am a great lover of stars for my boys layouts, so Um Wow Studio products are just perfect!
You can highlight them by placing a gold or sparkling paper under them.
As you can see, I did both for this layout :
I added a gold paper under the Star Peek-a-boo Tag (see below).
I added a gold paper under the Star Peek-a-boo Tag (see below).
And here, I added a sparkling paper ribbon under the Decorate Hashtag from the Celebrate Hashtag Banners Set. This way, the word is totally revealed. I used the same trick with the ThisDay Hashtag at the top of the page.
Here are the products I used:
Some other brands used: American Crafts, Basic Grey and October Afternoon.
Enjoy your day!

Spread your wings into the wild
Hello :) Anai here with another UmWowStudio inspiration for you.
This time I decided to make a small card using our amazing products.
I wanted to use this amazing feather chipboard and it was just a natural choice to use it with a Nature Walk collection. I especially love the "Word Stickers" which have a lot of very motivational words and sayings.
"Spread your wings" seemed to be perfect match :)
And isn't the "Into the wild" flair just beautiful?
I covered the feather with embossing powder ("Aged Rose" by Stampendous) and added a little bit of shading with black and white Gelatos. I love this distressed effect!
For the base I used a paper with some blue and green tones and it gave me and idea to use it as a "sky". I really like the star shape, so I used a star confetti mask with a soft pencil and then added star confetti chipboards with a silver glitter on some of them.
I'm really excited about this project and I really like the final look. I think it can be a great card for someone close to my heart.
As you can see even on the small surface (the card is 5,5x5,5'') you can use a lot of UmWowStudio products and create something very natural, cute... and may I say a little bit magical? :)
Supplies:
Nature Walk Diecut Tags
Nature Walk Diecut Elements
Nature Walk Elements Stickers
Nature Walk Words Stickers
Butterfly Kisses Flair
Star Confetti Mask
Star Confetti
Contoured Feather
Gelato - Black Licorice
Gelato - Coconut

Day #3
Wowza!! What amazing inspiration we've had so far!! I'm super honored to be among these gals sharing their work and I really hope you're seeing everyone's goods!!
Today I've got a 3rd scene style tag... and it's my favorite!!!
The stamps I used for this beauty are:
and a brand spanking new Pumpkin Row stamp from plate827 STILL ON PRE-ORDER!!!
I also used Distress ink in spiced marmalade, dried marigold, walnut stain, and black soot. I stamped in archival black ink. The stars were made with distress ink through a star punchinella from Gauche Alchemy. the ribbon is May Arts webbing and the brad is a BasicGrey epoxy brad.
Now check out what everyone else is doing!!!
