I have a fun little project I created.

I was digging around in my 'tovers pile

and found a strip of paper I had created.

I had adhered a piece of burlap to a piece of Kraft paper

and I had stenciled on the paper with

UmWowStudio ~ Wonky Circle Stencils

Seemed like this was a good place to start!

I love trying new things so I pulled out a few of my

new Baked Textures and embossed it onto my "paper"!

When I was done playing with color on my paper

I cut it up into ATC's.

I then pulled out my bag of UmWowStudio pieces parts.

I decided to use the "leftovers" from the

UmWowStudio ~ Home Grown Mash

To make the chippies even better, 

I pulled out a dollop of Modeling Paste and mixed in a bit of

beach sand to add MORE texture.

I repeated the technique using

UmWowStudio ~ Layered Hexagons

I also smeared a bit of the left over "texture" onto the ATC's.

When my newly textured chippies were dry,

I painted them with a bit of Glam

then I gave them a spritz of water to mix the color up.

I put my ATC's together

and adhered them to a piece of barn board.

Hello friends of UmWowStudio!

Today i want to share with you my new notebook with gold covers. This is very simple notebook. i have made it with craft pages, craft covers and craft chipboard. The gold paper i have cutted with my cameo. this paper is very thick so the pattern can stay on the sheet. So check it out!

Well hello again!

It's me, back with a new layout.

I surprised myself using shades of brown and kraft, 

I'm really not that type usually! 

On my chipboards, I applied ink directly on it. And then, I embossed it

with the Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel.

So here it is :

Anniversary Card and Gift Envelope by Olga

Hello friends!!!!

I want to show you two of my projects this week! Ok, I was  dozy and missed my publication am... not important ;)

So today I have two small projects with wonderful chipboard and flair from UmWowStudio. First of them, the anniversary card. I have used the hearts and stars from Home Grown MASH. I have covered it with shimmer Primery Elements from LuminArte and Glossy Accent over it.

Can you see, how cool look the chipboard on a light background!

So my second project is a gift envelope for a man. I love this bicycle, but had no use for them. :( With the idea for the gift envelope my dream gone into fulfillment! ;)

And here I have covered chipboard only with sparkle spray from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I think, the color is very good with the dark color of paper ("Fortune Teller" from 7Dots Studio). And the flair say all right: to have one million dollar is long past due!!  (ok, not US dollar;)))

So I hope, I could take you some inspiration and ideas for your wonderful projects! Have a good time!

Hi UmWowStudio Fans.....

Have you ever started a project "greatly inspired"

to have your inspiration peter away and leave you 

STRUGGLING!

Well.....this was one of those projects!

I wanted to play along with this month's

I just LOVED the mood board...
the colors...
the birch tree....
the tree branch....

I COULDN'T WAIT to get started!!

I pulled out my bag of Birch Bark

(NONE of the Birch Bark was removed from a live tree!!)

....a few twigs,

a bit of cream colored fabric

(which I never used)

....an old paper bag

and a 6" x 12" Natural Canvas.

I tore the paper bag to size,

spritzed it with water and manhandled it!

Then, I adhered it to my canvas with Multi Medium Matte.

I applied Polishing Plaster through my

UmWowStudios

Handwriting Stencil.

Then, I pulled out my bag of UmWowStudio's
Alphas One
and applied them in cluster's
adhered with Multi Medium Matte.

When dry, I created a 50/50 mixture

of Glaze Medium and Gesso,

brushed it on my canvas,

waited a minute then wiped it off with baby wipes

until I achieved my desired look!

I was LOVING my canvas....

THEN.....

I added a layer of Glaze Medium and Aged Copper,

....and the struggle began!

I adhered Birch pieces to my canvas...

I struggled....

I splattered on various Glimmer Mists...

I struggled more!

Finally....I had to stop.

So...I decided to take my creation out to the fence

to photograph my creation...
to get a BETTER look at it!

Did I save it??? By adding....

chicken wire

and

UmWowStudio

Home Grown MASH

I dabbed various fall colors, on the chippie leaves,

inspired by the leaves in the mood board

then I shaped the leaves.

I colored a piece of seam binding with various Glimmer Mists

and wrapped it around my canvas

along with a piece of unraveled jute.

Do you see the various hearts nestled in the background??
