? -- {A 12x12 by Kylie}

It's Kylie up today and she's got an adorable Red White and Blue layout to share!!

I know that I have raved and raved about the colour of the UmWowStudio chipboard, but let me tell you again just how much I love it. Kraft coloured supplies have long been a favourite of mine and UmWowStudio has totally impressed me with the quality and colour of their chip. So I like to use it naked. And here, it fits perfectly as a complement to my red, white and blue layout of my daughter's July 4th pic from last year based on DeeDee's July sketch. The expression says it all really, so I decided to break out the UmWowStudio Symbol Mash and titled the layout {?}. I included some of the Layered Circles as accents too.

Other Supplies: BoBunny and Canvas Corp papers, Maya Rd envelope and ticket, The Twinery twine, ric rac and film diecut stickers from stash. And a manky Gelly Roll pen that gave up halfway through the journalling!

A STAR project by Kylie!

Because we went straight into production and skipped a few small steps in planning, things are slightly mixed up. And for that I apologize.. One of those things happened to be getting the Creative Team their goods to play with! Normally most Creative team posts will be on Wednesdays with a few others here and there, but due to ironing out wrinkles in the beginning I get to share a 2nd Creative Team post with you TODAY.. barely 24 hours after the fist one!

Today I get to present to you KYLIE and her beautiful project:

Kylie says "I wanted to showcase the UmWowStudio chip and make it the 'star' of my project. My daughter has been having night terrors and so I settled on this project for her bedroom. I used a combination of stars that were naked chip (such a rich colour with the right amount of char) and misted with pink and brown mists. I used the same mists on some cardstock to create the the directions to Neverland from Peter Pan. I then attached my stars to either the cardstock or hung them from holes inside a 12x12 inch shadowbox frame using twine.

Products used: Layered Star chip (UmWowStudio), Bazzil cardstock, Maya mists (Maya Road), Thicker letters (American Crafts) and Twine (The Twinery)."

Are you ready to see my project????
Today I've put together some super fab Christmas themed tags to display on a mantle. I've attached them to a chicken wire backed picture frame. They can easily be removed and attached to gifts, or hung on the tree as ornaments too!

Joy Tag:

1) Cut tag shape from a piece of Authentique's Peaceful collection. Distress edges.

3) Create "Puff ball" for the snowman's hat from The Twinery's Maraschino twine. Glue in place using Tombow adhesives.
4) Cover snowman's scarf in liquid pearls. Glue snowman to tag using Tombow adhesives.
5) Punch tag using Fiskar's Tag punch from Authentique's Festive collection. Distress edges.
6) Punch ornament using Fiskar's ornament punch from kraft paper. Distress edges. Stamp with Hampton Arts stamp
7) Layer punched pieces on top of tag and under flower from UmWowStudio.
8) Finish with Joy letters.

Merry Tag:
1) Cut tag using Authentique's Festive collection. Distress edges.
2) Remove the middle section of the Christmas Tree ornament from Globecraft & Piccolo. Distress. Dot the tree with liquid pearls to represent ornaments and glitter the bottom section like snow. Glue to tag using Tombow adhesives.
3)  Tie a knot in a 5 inch section of May Arts ribbon and The Twinery's Maraschino twine. Glue to tag.
4) Finish with Merry letters.

Noel Tag:
1) Cut tag from Authentique's Festive collection. Distress edges.
1) Remove bits from by Globecraft & Piccolo. Distress edges. Glue to tag.
2) Punch two ornaments from Authentique's Peaceful collection using Fiskar's Ornament Punch. Stamp punches with Hampton Art stamp. Distress edges. Glue to tag using Tombow adhesives.
