It truly feels good to be back to creating
.....that is not wedding related!
To get me back in the groove,
I needed a bit of help with inspiration so I visited
I LOVE the beach theme and the BEAUTIFUL colors.
As I pondered the mood board, I decided I wanted to create ATC's
so I chose to focus on the colors first.
from the Fortune Teller collection.
I mixed up a concoction of
Gesso, High Impact Paint and Glimmer Glam
and splattered it on the paper surface.
Drying each layer as I went.
and applied various texture mediums through the stencil
randomly on the paper.
When the mediums were dry I used a pipette
to drop a bit of Bronze Mist onto my paper.
Now I had completed "paper" which I cut into 3.5" x 2.5" pieces.
LOOK at all the wonderful ATC bases I have to work with!
Sticking with the beach theme, I pulled out a piece of
cut it to size and colored it with a bit of Glam, along with a flower.
Do you see the seaweed looking chippie?
which can look a bit like seaweed.
I colored it with a bit of Glam and then cut it into pieces.
Lastly, I mixed a bit of sand with a smidge of Clear Gesso
to accent my ATC.
I applied the mixture to edges and used it to adhere
the tiny shells.
I used the words for the Fortune teller collect to round out my ATC.
.
I hope you enjoyed my little canvas.....
now I'm off to make more ATC's!!
