Globecraft Bezels!

After I got back from CHA I mentioned some projects I had in the Globecraft and Piccolo booth...

today I'm sharing the last two. one is on the Globecraft blog, and here is the other!

The design team was asked to use the brand new cardstock covered bezels!

They're so AWESOME.

Start out by stamping the cardstock. In this case I used my brand new Six Hexagon Background from Viva Las VegaStamps!. Splatter the cardstock with glimmer mist and adhered it to the bookboard backing. Generously cover the piece in glastique, and before it has a chance to dry, spread some Ebeads in it! I also used 3 floral beads on the piece. Adhere a vintage snap to a button with glastique, and then glastique them to the piece!

This piece is so beautiful and I'm super honored they've chosen to display it in their CHA booth!

I'm sharing a 2nd finished one on the Globecraft blog - go check it out!

CHA recap!

I had such a wonderful time @ CHA... it was AMAZING.
--warning.. PHOTO HEAVY--
I started right off the bat meeting Chrissy from Gauche Alchemy.. and she is so super cool! A wonderful smart business woman... total rock n roll and forever a friend♥

Sunday Morning we headed straight to Globecraft&Piccolo to learn about the demo! Later that afternoon the booth looked like this:

And we were off! Demoing fabulous new products like real rust embossing powder and a new UV gel! That's my arm in the gray sleeve :D

See the three neck style displays in the middle.. the lime green birds is mine, and at the top, the pen nib, the butterfly, the sunflower and the hexagon piece :)
(Here are three of them larger... Check back later this month to see the others!)
Then it was May Arts!!
Where I got to meet THE RIBBON LADY!!!!

Piles and piles of gorgeous ribbon! and there's my project on the end :D
Here it is larger:
(I told you I based the class off this piece :D)

Then we headed to Tattered Angels.. that booth was so busy there was no way I got any photos.. but I'm asking if anyone else did, so we'll see if I can report on those later!!
I met Wendy.. the creative mind behind TA and she's FABULOUS.

Then it was Demoing at Amazing Mold Putty!!
I met Susan M. Brown there.. and she's WONDERFUL. It was really great to meet her face to face...
While demoing in the booth I met...

LOUISE NESLON

and Nat and Birgit!!!

I could seriously go ON AND ON... I do need to say Mike from AMP is AMAZING.. and Carolyn is SO FUNNY and just as amazing!

I of course saw TONS of other booths and manufacturers.. Ranger, Viva Decor, Glitz, The Crafter's Workshop.. on and on!
you'd never realize how DOWN to earth people are!

A Good Day for the Jar..

... My friend Susan told me about a "Good Day Jar" she saw on Pinterest. and I love it.. she said at the beginning of each year you get a new jar, and throughout the year you fill it with notes about good days.. then at the end of the year you read them all!

Well I'm throwing today into next year's jar...

This morning I sent some CHA samples to Globecraft&Piccolo hoping they'd like them enough to display! .. They chose all SIX! :D AND they invited me to demo in their booth!

I also got a call from Carolyn @ Amazing Mold Putty -- and I'll be demoing in THAT booth as well!!

My CHA Badge came...

AND... PAPERHAUS magazine contacted me today.. WITH A REQUEST TO BE AN ON STAFF CONTRIBUTOR FOR THE MAGAZINE.

UM. YES PLEASE.

What.A.DAY♥

3) Create "Puff ball" for the snowman's hat from The Twinery's Maraschino twine. Glue in place using Tombow adhesives.
4) Cover snowman's scarf in liquid pearls. Glue snowman to tag using Tombow adhesives.
5) Punch tag using Fiskar's Tag punch from Authentique's Festive collection. Distress edges.
6) Punch ornament using Fiskar's ornament punch from kraft paper. Distress edges. Stamp with Hampton Arts stamp.
7) Layer punched pieces on top of tag and under flower from UmWowStudio.
8) Finish with Joy letters.
