Heyyie! My name is Cassandra Chen and I live in Sunny Singapore! I caught the scrapbooking bug in 2010 and I don’t think I have recovered from it since. Besides drooling over all the paper collections, I love how scrapbooking captures and preserves life's simplest moments! Something has always struck me about layouts that aren't square, and I'm a total fan of Cassandra's work. It's always so super top notch! The paper clustering in the corner is perfect.

And the golden glitter she's doused the UmWowStudio Layered Triangles in is superb! As the title (Layered Triangles) says, I had originally intended for all the layered pieces to layer on top of each other -- but every time someone staggers them like this, my heart flutters. One of the most rewarding things as a designer and owner of your own company and products is watching people use them in ways they weren't intended. Basically just seeing people be creative makes me happy, throw in my own products and I'm a superbly giddy gal! Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your work today Cassandra! Wanderlust {a 12x12 by Chrissy Colon}

This photo just begged for me to use fun colors, patterns and of course, confetti and flair. I also had a lot of fun playing around with mists and embossing paste.

I love the flair and how the images really speak to me. And let's not forget about the most awesome chipboard around. I just love how the confetti shapes look in the buff.

I Love Chevrons {A 12x12 by DeeDee}

Today I'm sharing a layout I created as an Inspiration Post over @ the Amazing Crafting Products Blog. Head over there to learn more about the new Amazing Mold Rubber they've released! 

My layout is a 12x12 based off the Simple Scrapper sketch and I'll be linking up @ Paper Issues.

I really really superbly love this layout! The base is a piece of Cosmo Cricket paper from the Fleuriste collection. The white piece is Limba cardstock from the Paper Issues store. I've used the Circle Confetti Mask, Layered Circles chipboard, Star Confetti chipboard and Sidewalk Chalk Flair from UmWowStudio. All the chipboard has been covered with Archival Ink by Ranger. Chevron Washi Tape from Gauche Alchemy. Row of Stars, Full Moon and Writing Background stamps from Viva Las VegaStamps!. White Box Pleat ribbon from May Arts Ribbons. The bulb is molded with Amazing Mold Rubber and cast in Amazing Clear Cast Resin by Amazing Crafting Products. I also used Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist in Charcoal.

In Her Hands It's Magic {12x12 by Miae}

This layout today is by Miae -- and just like Miae it's UBER fab!

 

 

Miae says : You know how kids love bubbles...something so simple yet endlessly entertaining, well I wanted to capture that sense of magic of seeing bubbles floating in the air. I used the Layered Circles and Layered Butterflies to help me along!

Using gel medium, I covered the circles in tissue paper, wrinkles and all, then added a little paint. 

 

 

The butterfly is covered with Deco Art Snow Tex and painted over with watercolors.

And now.. I Get to share!! Today I'm sharing with you a 12x12 layout. When Bethney mentioned Ribbon Cutting Ceremony I immediately thought of big red bows being cut right in half, trimmed edges and straight up strips of ribbon. So I set out to commemorate our first home as a family with these things in mind. Needless to say the work took me in a slightly different direction, but never the less RED and RIBBON are still recognizable! 

I layered up some gorgeous ribbons ( 447-1-01 | 336-38-14 | SM08 ) to embellish this layout.
