"Leftovers" card

Hello :)

Today I would like to show you, how I created my card.
I used some small pieces of paper, they are leftovers from my other projects -
so sometimes I'm making "leftovers" cards :)
They are great for any occassion and don't need any special preparations.
My card is just an example how to compose few items into one nice card :)

We need:
 - cardstock base (kraft one);
- few pieces of paper - as we wish;
- some chipboards;
- some flairs;
- self-adhesive tape (two sides);
- 3 D foam squares

Step 1: I adjusted my color paper to the size of my kraft base.

Step 2: I adjusted another piece of paper to this one from background.
It's a bit smaller. It makes an interesting contrast.
I've bended edges of both papers. I've torn it in a few places.

Step 3: I've glued my chipboard into few pieces of paper
 with glue and 3D foam squares to give it some dimention.

Step 4: Now it's time to compose my card. I've added some white thread.

Step 5: I'm adding some 3D foam squares under a flair button.

Step 6: I've glued some chevron chipboards and a flair button.

Step 7. In the end I've added some accents with liquid pearls and few mosaic pieces.
Now it's time to fit my card into cardstock base.

Esprit Campagne by Ladybird

Today, I am here to share a Spring/Summer layout.
I tend to be quite reluctant to use flowers for my boys layout, but each time I do it, I wonder why I don't do it more often! Flowers and delicate colours have also their place on little boy layouts.

 I am in love with this flair, it's so... beautiful!
 And the arrow confetti are perfect to add some dynamism to the layout!

Thankful by Sindi Jeffers

I just stopped by today to share this layout I created with my UmWowStudio goodies!
I simply adore this photo of my daddy and all his siblings. I wanted to make this layout bright and fun, because they are happy-go-lucky kind of folks. I started with a painted yellow background. I used the diamond confetti mask to add some white gesso into the background and then added a bit more white gesso using the circle confetti mask. Then I added in some chevron shapes cut from some patterned paper by American Crafts.

I covered my layered squares in white gesso before painting them with blue india ink. I went back over them with more white gesso, using a technique like the one I mentioned in this post. I wrapped some twine around them to top them off.

I also used some white gesso and paint to cover the noted piece from the arrow title mash and added a bit of patterned paper behind it.

Count your blessings by Tusia Lech

Hello :)

I am not good at creating Easter cards (Happy Easter everyone!!) but I do love to create cards, that can uplift someone's mood :) Here is one of them.

Background paper and sticker with text is from 7 Dots Studio. The focal point is beautiful flair from UmWowStudio - Wild Flowers Set.

I have altered UmWowStudio Heart Confetti chipboard pieces with gesso and than I applied Color Shine pink spray.

Here and there I sprinkled also some micro beads.
