La ferme du Cap Saint-Jacques by Magali

I am so happy to be with you today, to share a layout I've made about my youngest son.
He's an animal lover... he absolutely adore them, each of them (with a little preference for horse and donkey but this will certainly be a story for another layout).
We have the chance to live near a farm on the island of Montréal. It's located in a big nature park, so that always a pleasure to go there to walk. Almost each day of the week, my little one asks us when we'll go to the farm... each day!
Sometimes, we go 4 or 5 times a week... sometimes we have to many other things to do and he needs to wait. But every single time we go there, as soon as are in the car to go back to home, he asks again "when will we be back?". That's crazy!

For this layout, I've used the following products:

Summer canvas by Magali

Hi there,

I am really happy to be here for a new term with you and I hope you'll love my next creations.
Today, I want to share a little canvas, it's the first one I show you here.
It's about 6x6 inches and 2 inches thick.

The quote is from Albert Einstein.

I always liked this quote and a friend of mine recently give me a mug with it... I found it very inspiring. Here is my process...
For the background I used Gelatos from Faber Castell, I love the bright colors they offer. I've drawn some circles creating an ombré effect. Then, I applied water with a brush, to soften the effect.

I added the lettering with Decoupage glue.
I coloured my bicycle with black ink pad, just pressing the pad on the chipboard. I love the fact that the natural color of the chipboard is still visible. I did the same with the flowers.
For the last part of the quote, I used a dymo label maker. I also added some stamps on the edges.
After adding some iRESISTible ink splashes, here is the final result.

And here are the UWS I used:

And other products: DoodleBug letters, Dymo

Spring Tag by Jen

Does it feel like Spring might never come to anyone else? It has snowed in Central New York for a month with 3-4 feet on the ground (actually up to my windows) and the air so cold it hurts to breathe when you step outside!  I am so ready for a warm up!  So to brighten my cold, dreary, winter day, I made a spring tag with some UmWow Studio lovelies.
I needed some gorgeous color so after priming the chip with Faber-Castell Design  Memory Craft Gesso, I added a rainbow of Gelatos®to the tag.  Gorgeous!
So pretty with the raised texture from the stencil and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Whipped Spackle.   Adding some UmWow Studio Flower Confetti and Alphas to create a fun ode to Spring!

Doesn't that chip just look amazing with the colored Gelatos®?  Makes it all tie together (with some ribbon and canvas threads, of course).
So, HELLO winter... here's the "#Memo". We want Spring in the worst way!  Come on, pretty please?
A little bee flair to give it some more spring and we are done!  I'm displaying this prominently on my mantel to remind me that it will be here sooner or later... sooner please!

Materials used:

Chop! by Sindi Jeffers

This is my first official post as a member of the team here at UmWowStudio! I was so very excited to finish this first project. I just adore the little guy in this photo. He is such a sweetie. He was using his little ax to help his daddy and grandpa chop up leftover wood after a dead tree was cut down in our yard. And yes, he's in his pajama bottoms and a big puffy coat. It's how we roll.

As soon as I thought about a layout for this photo, I knew I wanted it to have a tree. I used the circle confetti mask to create my tree. I simply laid the mask on my cut out circles and spread some white gesso on there. After that had dried, I was able to use some cheap-o paint from Wal Mart to splatter on top. A few spritzes of water while the paint was wet helped to create a messy look. I also added some flower confetti to my tree for some added dimension. I used the layered banners for my title. I covered them in this adorable paper by Pebbles.
