Adventure by Kareen

Hello UmWowStudio's Fans!!

So I'm up on the blog today with this layout and
a video tutorial! Yeah!!!

I've used a lot of chipboards, I just love them.
All embossed or paint, as usual. I love to alterate them, it is so versatile.

Again, I've used the Homegrown Collection from 7 Dots Studio!

This is my layout :

Heart by Kareen

Hello UmWowStudio's followers!!!

I'm here today with a layout and the amazing
7 Dots Studio's paper collection designed by the very unique DeeDee Catron.

I have to say, I usually take pastel or very bright colors,
so it is a little bit out of my comfort zone, but I really
like working with this collection.

So, I hope you will like it too!!

True Love with Ashley Horton

We have the super talented Ashley Horton back for her second post.. another gorgeous 12x12. Stop by the last time she was here to learn more about her.

Today she's brought us this awesome True Love page... and you have GOT TO SEE!! She used our chipboard pieces to create the TITLE! EEEEEEEEEEK! :

What's more fun than cute chipboard shapes?...how about making a shape with the chipboard pieces! I received so many fun products from UmWow,

and I wanted a way to use as many of the chipboard pieces as possible. So I thought it would be fun to use the pieces to create the word Love on my layout. I used the large arrow from the Chevron Arrow chipboard with a mix of the XOXO Mash chipboard.

I love the look of the large title element. I decided to keep all of the chipboard natural, to create a neutral look that worked perfectly with the Documentary collection from Dear Lizzy.

Thanks a million times over for Ashley lending her beautiful style to our products! We are so honored to have had her. Leave her some LOVE people!!!!

& don't forget our preorder for the new SHEBANG kits! Save 20% during preorder.. tons of paper, stencils, stamps, chipboard, flair and MUCH MORE :

12x12 "Quite the pair"

(If you're looking for the CropChocolate blog hop please scroll down!!)

This layout was done for a gal who commissioned 6 layouts for her album.. she does yearly photos of her and her husband. I'll show them one at a time throughout the next few days.

Products used:

BoBunny Gabrielle paper, Bobunny Gabrielle chipboard adhesive pieces, Art Blanche alphas, vintage buttons, vintage lace, baker's twine, Heritage cricut cartridge, recycled chipboard, vintage photo distress stain, embossing folder, Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

I got the inspiration from this partly from a page I did previously.. but more from the BoBunny inspiration for the Layout Challenge this month.. I took inspiration from the divided window, the turquoise tan and coral colors, and the banner which I ended up turning into a line of rolled paper pieces.

Looks like I missed the link up so I'll just post on their FB page :)
