A Cold Stare!

Hello there friends and Welcome!
It's my turn ~Geraldine~ here today to share with you a layout of my daughter Mackenna featuring some fabulous UmWowStudio chipboard pieces and Flair that I wanted to make the sole focus elements of the page. I chose the Branches and Bats to give the page a spooky vibe to go with that icy stare!

'A Cold Stare'

UmWowStudio Products:

Dream a little dream flair

The Chipboard has been coated in Tim Holtz Crackle paint and then inked with various distress inks,  Black Stazon and sanded to peel away for a weathered look.
Paper - 7DotsStudio.
Thanks for dropping by the blog and I hope I have given you some inspiration! Geraldine.

♥ Bangs {May Arts & Faber Castell}

Hello Folks!!

Welcome to my part during the insanely inspiring May Arts and Faber Castell swap week! I hope you've been visiting blogs all week! There's a beautimous prize up for grabs... and the Faber Castell goods work like HEAVEN with the vast abundance of May Arts Ribbons available, so I wouldn't want you to miss anything along the way♥

I've been working on a little general self improvement, and recently worked up the balls to cut some side sweeping bangs into my former one length locks.
I. LOVE. THEM.
So I marked the occasion with a 12x12! And what better style to create my layout in than a bit of cream and pink femininity!

The May Arts ribbons used include the Eyelet Lace(447-58-01 White), the Sheer Box Pleat(392-58-01 - WHITE) and the Pink Burlap String(SM-17 Pink.) I also used a Metallic Melon Gelato from FC to both stamp in and splatter across the page and my embellishments. The FC Metallic PITT Pen in Gold makes the perfect little doodles along the edges of the page and photograph as well as handwritten title. Along with the doodles around the edges I added in a few complimentary circles mixed in with the Gelato splashes.

Other products used include  UmWowStudio (Mini Polaroid Chip, Circle Confetti Mask, Daisy Chip, Swallow Chip, Layered Hearts Chip), My Mind's Eye (Buttons and Brads), Viva Las VegaStamps! (Snail, Line of Chevrons, Striped Border Arrow, Open Immediately, Feed Your Soul), Gauche Alchemy (Washi Tape), Glitz (Giant Rhinestone), Prima (Daisy Layers Paper Flower), BasicGrey (Serenade paper), adhesive, gesso, thread, seed beads, eBeads, basic archival ink in black and a paperclip!

Please please PLEASE Make sure to see all the beauty today by visiting fellow Ribbonistas GINI & EMILY as well as the May Arts Blog and the Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Blog!

12 tags Day 5

Welcome to our very own 12 Tags O' Christmas!! I've been super impressed by the team and I'm SUPER thankful for all your wonderful comments. They make me feel all warm inside!

Each day of the hop we are using stamps from Plate #1363 -- which is also a PRIZE! for people who hop all 12 days, leave comments and become followers!

You should have started @ Terri's Blog. if not, click the link and be sure to go in order :)

My Creation:

(is this photo blurry??)

Don't be afraid to cut out parts of stamps you like.. or to stamp them and then cut into the image --- I do love the lights that are originally strung on top of this "Have a Merry Christmas" but for this application I decided the image would be better with out them! Easy peasy.. just cut them away!

I have also managed to base my tags off of Linda (The Funky Junkie)'s 12 tags! So I will be linking up there each day :) Today's is linking to tag 4 -- I loved yesterday's background (as did all of you I noticed!) so much that I recreated it.. a little lighter and a bit more green..  I loved the animal Linda had, the cheesecloth AND the icesicles.

Thanks for stopping by!! You're on your way to Susan's Blog next!!!
