Sneak Peek! - Winter Wonderland

I know this sneak peek is a little while in the making, but I've been really busy catching up from last month's HUGE class/kit combo and getting stuff ready for CHA.

Beach Combing REVEAL!!!

 Alright alright.. here it is. Beach Combing!!

Here is the main kit:

It includes:

1 6 inch weathered wood fence

1 hanging beach sign

2 weathered wood clothespins

3 distressed patterned paper clothespins

3 patterned paper flags

1 bundle of driftwood

1 ragged muslin flower with box pleat and pearl center

1 vintage lace flower with pearl center

12 inches of rustic baker's twine

1 message in a bottle

3 weed silhouettes in cream cardstock.. mist 'em, use 'em as a mask, ink 'em... do what you will!

and a scatter of authentic shells.

 I've decided to introduce an add on kit! Each month's kit will consist of theme appropriate resin pieces. This month's includes an anchor, two pelicans and some harbor dock poles.. complete with rope and a netting throw. Each add on kit will be completely voluntary, will be $10 and will have free shipping as it'll just go in the same box as your regular kit. :) - If you love the add on kit.. buy it! Today I'm sharing my very first Art Journal page with you. 

I'll share more details about this guy on the VLVS! Blog tomorrow - but really I am so loving this art journaling business!!! 

Anyways.. products used: Distress stain in broken china, distress ink in mustard seed, broken china, vintage photo, pine needles and tumbled glass. Spellbinders die, corrugated cardboard, Viva Las VegaStamps! stamp, memento ink, baker's twine, floral beads, zig glue, water, a heat gun and a Clairefontaine journal.

That sleeping little elf is just so cute! Don't you think? The NOEL is also a VLVS! stamp found HERE. 

I have also managed to base my tags off of Linda (The Funky Junkie)'s 12 tags! So I will be linking up there each day :) Today's is linking to tag 5 -- I'm a huge found object fan, much like Linda -- and today I used an actual bottle brush tree... glittered it myself to look like snow and found some fab metallic beads I had that look like miniature glass ornaments!! The "JOY" on her tag is splendid and a great main focus.. so I went for that same look with my NOEL.

Don't be afraid to cut out parts of stamps you like.. or to stamp them and then cut into the image --- I do love the lights that are originally strung on top of this "Have a Merry Christmas" but for this application I decided the image would be better with out them! Easy peasy.. just cut them away!

I have also managed to base my tags off of Linda (The Funky Junkie)'s 12 tags! So I will be linking up there each day :) Today's is linking to tag 4 -- I loved yesterday's background (as did all of you I noticed!) so much that I recreated it.. a little lighter and a bit more green..  I loved the animal Linda had, the cheesecloth AND the icesicles.

Fall Memories

I made it to the 2nd round over @ Practical Scrappers

here's my fall card

products used: Inkadinkado stamps, walnut distress ink, a 7gypsies stamp, vintage buttons, walnut distress embossing powder, a giant half pearl, seam binding, twine, a paper studio paper, corrugated cardboard and recycled cardboard.
